Pro Hearing Aid 3

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 27 August 2026

This policy explains what the iOS app Pro Hearing Aid 3 for AirPods (the “App”) collects and what it does with it. The App is developed and published by Berkay Boşnak (“we”, “us”), an independent developer, who is the data controller for the purposes of the GDPR and the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).

The short version The App has no accounts and no sign-up. The microphone audio it amplifies is processed live on your device and is never recorded, stored or transmitted. We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

1. Microphone audio

The App needs microphone access to do its job: it takes the sound around you, amplifies and equalises it, and plays it into your headphones in real time. This processing happens entirely on your device, inside the App.

You can revoke microphone access at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone. The amplification feature will stop working, but the rest of the App will still open.

2. Information stored on your device only

The following stays on your iPhone (and, where applicable, syncs to your paired Apple Watch). We cannot read it:

Deleting the App deletes this data.

3. Information we do collect

WhatWhyProcessed by
Usage events — app opened, onboarding steps, hearing check started/completed, amplifier started/stopped, settings opened, paywall shown/dismissed, purchase started/completed/failed/restored, rating prompt shown, microphone permission requested/granted To understand which features are used and where people get stuck, so we can improve the App Mixpanel
Device and app context attached to those events — device model, iOS version, app version, language/region, a randomly generated app-install identifier, connected headphone model, and whether the user has an active subscription To group usage data and to diagnose issues on specific devices or OS versions Mixpanel
Purchase and subscription status — which product was bought, transaction and receipt data provided by Apple, renewal/expiry status To unlock the features you paid for, to restore purchases on your other devices, and for subscription accounting RevenueCat, Apple

This data is not linked to your name, email address, phone number or Apple ID — we never receive those. It is linked to a random identifier generated on installation.

4. What we do not do

5. Service providers

We use a small number of processors, each bound by its own agreement to process data only on our instructions:

These providers are located in the United States, so the data described in section 3 is transferred outside the EEA/UK/Türkiye. Those transfers rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, explicit consent under KVKK Art. 9.

6. Legal bases (GDPR)

7. Retention

Analytics events are retained by Mixpanel for up to 24 months and then deleted. Subscription records are kept for as long as the subscription is active and afterwards for as long as required by tax and accounting law. On-device data lives on your device until you delete the App.

8. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with data, write to us and we will delete it.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (in Türkiye, the KVKK Authority). California residents additionally have the rights to know, delete, correct and to opt out of sale/sharing — and, as noted above, we do not sell or share personal information.

To exercise any of these, email berkaybosnak55@gmail.com. Because the App has no accounts, please tell us your device model and the approximate installation date so we can locate the relevant records. We respond within 30 days.

10. Security

Data in transit is encrypted with TLS. On-device data is protected by iOS app sandboxing and device encryption. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we keep the amount of data we hold deliberately small.

11. Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change is significant, note it inside the App. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated policy.
